Our Story

Rex & Roxy began with a simple goal: to provide dependable, compassionate care for pets while giving their families peace of mind. Inspired by a love for animals and a passion for helping busy families, the business was created to bridge the gap between busy schedules and happy pets.

What started as a one-person operation has grown into a dedicated team of pet care specialists who share a commitment to enriching pets’ lives. Through expert care, playful interaction, and genuine affection, we ensure every wag, purr, and happy bark is met with the attention and love it deserves.

Aubrey

Founder & Owner

Aubrey’s home is full of personality, thanks to her playful dog Navi, her spirited cat Eevee, and a small mischief of charming mice. Originally from the Midwest, she moved to the Pacific Northwest as a teen and, after living abroad, found her way back to raise her family.

What Aubrey loves most about working with pets is the joy of earning the trust of shy animals and building meaningful connections. As the founder of Rex & Roxy Pet Care, she named the business in tribute to her beloved late kitty, Rex, and a cherished family dog, Roxy.

Fun fact: Aubrey has unbeatable Tetris skills!

Marney

Pet Care Specialist

Marney is a lifelong pet parent who cares for a blue heeler, three cats, and backyard chickens. Born and raised in the north Seattle area, she loves the Pacific Northwest and its vibrant community.

Her favorite part of working with pets is helping them thrive so they can continue bringing joy to their families. Outside of pet care, Marney enjoys arts and crafts, baking, reading, and gardening.

Fun fact: Marney is bilingual in Spanish and loves a good, cheesy telenovela!

Mary

Pet Care Specialist

Mary grew up with a Mini Schnauzer who adores squeaky toys, hikes, and relaxing in the yard. Originally from Breckenridge, Colorado, she moved to the Pacific Northwest to explore the area and is now pursuing her Master’s in Nutrition.

Mary loves working with pets because of their unique personalities—there’s never a dull moment! When she’s not caring for animals or studying, you can find her outdoors running, skiing, or enjoying the beauty of the PNW.

Fun fact: Mary is a certified scuba diver!

Coco

Pet Care Specialist

Coco is the proud owner of a Rottweiler with a big personality (and a pot belly to match!). Originally from the United Kingdom, she moved to the Pacific Northwest for a new adventure and loves seeing the joy pets bring to her day.

Her favorite part of working with pets is the excitement they show when they see her—it never fails to brighten her day. When she’s not caring for animals, Coco works as a professional makeup artist.

Fun fact: Coco’s favorite fruit is lychee!
